The Coppell Air Force team is working on a new logo. Carolyn was pretty adamant that she didn't want to make it. I volunteered to put something together right now and see where it goes. While I was still working, Carolyn turns her computer around and it's already done.

Working Hard

Our students are extremely dedicated. It is fun to watch them work. Two of our FRC team members, Carolyn and Matt, have been having a heated discussion over who has put in the most time during the build season this year. It has now spilled over into the weeks between the build and the competition. Tonight, neither wanted to leave because they were afraid the other would get ahead in hours worked. For the program, it has turned into one VERY clean robotics lab.

Getting the car out

Getting the car out of the shop is not easy. The doorway is 6 feet wide. Our car is 5'10" and because the doors do not open all the way (they hit the bricks), the opening is only 5'9". To get in and out, we have to take off the panels and wiggle the car out. Wow, what a mess.

It's after midnight. Do you know where your children are? If they are a CHS Engineering student, it's likely they are in the lab working on a project. That's the case for the solar car team. Scrutineering starts in a few hours. The team is putting on the last few touches and getting the last bugs worked out.
